halley k harrisburg

halley k harrisburg was born and raised in Portland, Maine, and graduated from Bowdoin College in 1990 with a degree in art history. She has been an art world professional for over thirty-five years, beginning her career at Josh Baer Gallery before joining Michael Rosenfeld Gallery in 1992. In 2004, she was elected to ArtTable, a national non-profit membership organization for professional women in leadership roles in the visual arts. From 2004 to 2022, harrisburg served on the Executive Board of the Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM), taking on multiple leadership roles including Chairman of the Board from 2008 to 2018. In 2015, the Jewish Women’s Foundation honored her “unwavering commitment to diversity and childhood arts education.” 

In recent years, harrisburg has served on the Advisory Council for the Bowdoin College Museum of Art (1994–2021), The Art Show Committee of the Art Dealers Association of America (2016–2021), the Pemberton Society at The Bank Street College of Education and the Advisory Board of the Apollo Theater Foundation; presently, she serves on the Board of Directors at The Gund Gallery at Kenyon College.
